about

This record was recorded and mixed by the talented and portable John Angelo. We began in September 2012 and got the final mix in April of 2013. We recorded the drums at an art studio in downtown Buffalo called Main Street Studios, run by Erica Eichelkraut Zilbauer – thanks Erica! We recorded the guitars in the basement of 223 Lafayette where Art of the Underground records is operated – thanks Alex! Vocals were recorded in a room where two cats spend a lot of time – thanks Jiggles and Moo Cow! It spent some time being pushed through the mixing board at Gwar’s studio, The Slave Pit – thanks Gwar! We also began writing these songs while Zac Ausman was still in the band and he definitely left his mark on the way they ended up sounding – thanks Zac! Also, thanks to: Chris Mason and Stephen Floyd for making this all happen; Drew Weing for doing the art for both this record and Don’t Go Swimming; Stephen Roessner, who lent his ears and talents during the mixing process of this record (which was quite helpful); and Wells Tipley for printing up the jackets. Jason plays Paiste cymbals.
